Lübbow is located in the Elbhöhen-Wendland Nature Park and directly on the Green Belt. The municipality is promoted as a starting point for exploring the surrounding area by bicycle. More than 100 villages in the Wendland preserve the medieval settlement form of the round village or still clearly display it; the round villages of the Wendland can be explored by bicycle. The Wendland has numerous cycling and hiking trails for exploring the region. The Alte Jeetzel between Lüchow and Hitzacker is open to canoeists and kayakers.
