The MoorIZ features an interactive moorland exhibition. The Ahlen Moor offers opportunities to observe rare plants and possibly rare animals adapted to this extreme habitat.
The Moor Adventure Trail is a family excursion destination whose walking trail is freely accessible year-round. It includes 14 information stations on the moor’s flora and fauna and has been renovated to provide barrier-free access.
The Hadler Legends Trail presents regional legends and nature stories at 32 stations along existing cycle paths in the collective municipality of Land Hadeln – via podcasts and radio plays.

The Moorbahn departs from the Moorbahnhof at the MoorIZ, Am Hohen Kopf 3 in Wanna, between Wanna and Flögeln; parking spaces are available there.
