Restored half-timbered houses and old farmsteads around Goethestraße recall the town’s farming past as “Old Kriftel.” In those days, agriculture in Kriftel was carried out with horses and carts. The Catholic Church of St. Vitus is the landmark of the fruit-growing town of Kriftel and the only church in the district with two towers.
