The Oder Island Küstrin-Kietz Nature Reserve, covering around 213 hectares, lies in the municipality of Küstriner Vorland, includes parts of the Küstrin-Kietz cadastral district and is located immediately east of the settlement of Küstrin-Kietz. The protected area and the settlement are therefore not the same: the area includes parts of the cadastral district, not the entire settlement.
