Antoniberg is protected in its entirety as a natural monument. An impressive avenue of old lime trees leads up the hill to a viewpoint overlooking the Danube and the surrounding Danube floodplains. The hill is also home to the “Durchblick” installation, built in 2015. It shows the exact location of the Roman-built bridge, 500 metres long, whose remains have been identified in the riverbed. Here, the natural landscape, the viewpoint and a glimpse into the Roman history of the Danube come together. The installation draws attention to the bridge site, while the avenue of lime trees and the views of the river and floodplains reveal another side of Antoniberg.

A 63-kilometre section of the Danube Cycle Path runs through the district, from Donauwörth to Ingolstadt.
