The Rhönexpress runs from Zeitlofs via Bad Brückenau to Wildflecken along a long-disused railway line. Zeitlofs is therefore one of the route’s explicitly named points. The gradient is consistent and very gentle along the entire route.

The public toilet has step-free access but is not fully accessible. As the availability of facilities may change, it is best to check that they are available before your trip.

The Gleispark is also home to the Dr. Wolff outdoor fitness trail, with numerous training options. It adds a sporting dimension to the experience of the rest stop and railway history. If you are planning your stay, you can weigh up these different options: a ride on the Rhönexpress, a break at the Gleispark or time on the fitness trail. The right combination depends on what you want to focus on during your trip.
The wider region: Bad Kissingen
