It passes through six picturesque villages in the Beaujolais: Beaujeu, Les Ardillats, Vernay, Saint Didier sur Beaujeu, Quincié en Beaujolais and Marchampt.
The Circuit du Château is a 22 km-long, partly sporty trail through forests and meadows, offering panoramic views of the hills of Haut Beaujolais and the commune of Les Ardillats. It begins in the village centre at the car park of the salle des fêtes; three variants of 4 km each lead back to the village.

Un Jardin de Chez Nous offers a guided exploration of the wild and cultivated flora of the Massif du Mont Saint-Rigaud. The tour leads from the garden of the La Verrière guesthouse to the summit of the 1,009-metre-high mountain range and is accompanied by Grégoire, a regional guide and facilitator for the Géoparc Beaujolais.
