Cogny: Holiday apartments and holiday homes
Culture and history
In 2001, the Manoir d'Epeisses received the départemental V.M.F. award for the Rhône, and in 2002, the Rhône General Council's heritage award.
The foundation stone of Cogny's present-day church was laid on 26 October 1858; it was consecrated on 25 January 1865. On the square, small columns with Romanesque capitals and carved corbels from the former sanctuary of Cogny, dating from the late 12th century, are on display.
The Maillet washhouse was restored by the municipality. Cogny Church can be visited year-round; the keys are available at the bar, which is closed on Wednesdays.
By reservation, a guided tour of the village is available and lasts approximately two hours.
Those wishing to rent a holiday apartment in Cogny can include this in their own stay planning.
