Landscape and Cycling

The Tour de la Vallée de la Trambouze includes a climb at Pont Gauthier up to the heights of Pont-Trambouze. The Tour de la Vallée de la Trambouze has been a junior race since its first edition on 7 September 1986 and is held in two stages: a time trial in the morning and a circuit race in the afternoon.

Culture and Trails

Circuit 6 Bisserole leads to the Chapelle des Bleus, which stands on the remains of an earlier chapel of the Knights Hospitaller. The trail continues through the valley along the river’s right bank to Pont-Trambouze and is marked with yellow signs bearing the number 6 on a blue background. Circuit 6 Bisserole is no longer maintained; currently, walking it is not recommended (as of 20 July 2025).

Local Highlights

Parc La Farandole provides families and groups with space for picnics or barbecues. The communal bread oven in Parc La Farandole is available to everyone upon request at the town hall.

The Foire au Boudin features boudin prepared and offered for tasting in front of visitors, as well as a flea market. In Pont-Trambouze, the Foire au Boudin combines boudin tasting with a flea market, entertainment and on-site refreshments. The Foire au Boudin is scheduled for the fourth Saturday in March at Place Michalot.
