Nature
The Petit Balcon Sud hiking trail connects Argentière with Servoz. The Balade de la Moraine d'Argentière leads to a viewpoint above the glacier gorge, while the du Péclerey hike offers a far-reaching panorama of the Aiguilles Rouges.
The Petit Balcon Nord: Le Tour–Argentière hiking trail runs between Le Tour and Argentière on the north side of the valley. The hike from Argentière to the Lacs des Cheserys takes around 2 hours and 30 minutes to reach the Chalets des Chéserys at an altitude of 1,998 metres.
Mountain Sports
The Domaine nordique d'Argentière has around 15 kilometres of groomed trails for classic cross-country skiing and skating. The nearest railway station to the Grands Montets ski area is Gare d'Argentière. The Site d'escalade de la Joux has around 50 climbing routes ranging in height from 5 to 70 metres.
Culture
The Église Saint-Pierre d'Argentière was built in the Baroque style in 1726. Its altarpiece was listed as a protected monument in 1912. The hamlet of Le Tour has old, typical farmhouses.
Au Fil du Rail is a 3-kilometre-long, playful and educational trail in Argentière that can be completed alone or with the family. The Compagnie des Guides de Chamonix also welcomes visitors at its office in Argentière.
