In the wooded heights of Saint-Victor, at almost 900 metres above sea level, lie the ruins of Chatelas, now situated in the middle of the forest. They face due west towards Seray Castle above Satillieu and served as a lookout post on the road to the Massif Central.

Culture and History
The Notre-Dame de Navaz chapel was already mentioned in the Charter of Navaz in 1062. Near the village of Chantelermuze, a reconstructed old bread oven and a reconstructed oil mill are among the surviving reminders of Saint-Victor’s agricultural and craft heritage.
Nature
The Daronne gorges have been classified as an “Espace Naturel Sensible” since 2015 and offer opportunities for excursions in nature and extensive landscape experiences. Saint-Victor is one of three access points to the Daronne gorges. They include a footbridge between Saint-Victor and Colombier-le-Vieux.
The Saint-Victor orientation table helps visitors identify the most important peaks. In clear conditions, it offers panoramic views of the Alps; in good weather, Mont Blanc can also be seen.

The Chantelermuze route in Saint-Victor is 8 km long, has an elevation gain of 291 metres, and is indicated as taking 3 hours.
The “Cyclo Descente Balcons du Rhône” cycling route leads downhill from Saint-Victor to Vion and offers panoramic views of the hills of Saint-Joseph and the Rhône.
