Juvinas: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Espace Vesta is an exhibition venue for the Juvinas meteorite. The meteorite is an achondrite, more specifically a eucrite. Its original mass was estimated at 91 kg. After Millbillillie, it is the second-heaviest eucrite.

Culture

A fragment of the Juvinas meteorite has been on display at the Espace Vesta in Juvinas since 2019 and can be viewed by request at the town hall. The village church – Église Saint-Vincent – has a classical portal and was extended in 1857.

Hiking

The fourth stage of the GRP Haute Cévenne d'Ardèche leads to the road opposite the church in Juvinas; below the church, the town hall square can be reached via the steps on the left. Along the GRP route are the signposts “Juvinas” at an altitude of 665 m and “Sous Juvinas” at an altitude of 640 m.

The Les Champeaux hiking route begins at the “JUVINAS” Info-Rando sign on Juvinas town hall square at an altitude of 660 m.

Nature

The chestnut groves of Juvinas are among the landscapes appreciated by walkers. The Les Champeaux route passes through chestnut groves and runs along Faysses walls, i.e. cultivated terraces, in some sections.
