The designation of Saint-Maurice-d'Ibie as a Site Patrimonial Remarquable confirms the public interest in its historical, architectural and landscape value. The village's history includes several old bread ovens, including the communal bread oven.

The Romanesque church of Saint-Maurice-d'Ibie has been listed in the supplementary inventory of historic monuments since 1933. It has a sculpted porch with an unusual chrism, as well as a dome decorated with naïve paintings. Houses with “Couradou” are also characteristic: their covered arcaded terraces bear witness to the former rearing of silkworms and artisanal spinning.

Local life

The Petit marché estival takes place on Sunday evenings from the beginning of July to the end of August, from 6 to 8 p.m., in the church square. The municipality organises it with local producers from the village and surrounding area, along with a different accompanying event each week.
