Culture and history
The Église Saint-Etienne is a remarkable building in the town. Its interior contains numerous paintings, medallions and statues that reveal the importance of the former priory. The church also contains a Roman sarcophagus from the 2nd century, which is used as a baptismal font.
The Château de Cadenet is a listed site with cave dwellings and a green amphitheatre. Basketry is also part of the town’s history: the Musée de la Vannerie is located on the former site of the “La Glaneuse” basketry and opened in July 1988.
