Culture and History
The western main building of the Logis de Brieuil dates from the 15th and 16th centuries and was remodeled at the beginning of the 17th century. The Logis de Brieuil has been listed as a historic monument by decree since March 2, 1993. The Seigneurie de Brieuil has been documented since the second half of the 12th century.
The Protestant Temple of Chenay was built between 1865 and 1867 by the Melin company according to plans by the architect Godineau de la Bretonnerie. The building is neoclassical and consists of a single rectangular structure with a gabled roof and continuous roof surfaces. Its entrance façade has been listed as a historic monument by decree since September 21, 1998.
