The Festival international du film ornithologique de Ménigoute was founded in Ménigoute in 1985. It lasts six days and offers nature-related activities for all age groups. In addition, Bois Pouvreau is a 25-hectare nature and recreational area with 11 hectares of water intended for fishing.

Nature

Culture
The Chapelle Jean-Boucard, also known as the Chapelle des Hospices or Chapelle de l'Aumonerie, is a Gothic building and was probably built before 1525. In 1862, it was classified as a Monument historique. The Croix hosannière was classified as a Monument historique by a decree dated 22 March 1889.
Trails and Activities
A signposted 25.2 km mountain bike route starts at the town hall and passes through Fomperron. A signposted 4.5 km circular hiking route also starts at the town hall. The hiking route from Ménigoute to Bois Pouvreau is 13.3 km long and leads from the town centre through typical sunken lanes of the Gâtine.
