Culture
The Château de Septmonts served as the summer residence of the bishops of Soissons from the 12th to the 16th century. The Château de Septmonts includes the moats, a complete tower, a tower reduced to half its original height, the ruins of the Renaissance residential building, and the remains of the fortifications. The ruins of a former chapel, sections of the fortification walls, and the moats have also been preserved.
The Salle Saint-Louis is square, with sides measuring 8 m, and has four vaulted sections resting on a central column. The Église Saint-André de Septmonts is classified as a historic monument.
