Nature
The Collines du Laonnois oriental Natura 2000 site, a special conservation area with the code FR 2200395, covers part of the municipality of Laval-en-Laonnois. Its designation was justified by the presence of natural habitat types and wild animal and plant species. The protected area is entirely terrestrial.
The 21-hectare Les Glonards nature area is also located within the municipality. It comprises wet heathlands, acidic fens and birch bogs with sphagnum mosses. Les Glonards is freely accessible.

Culture and History
The main construction phase of the church in Laval-en-Laonnois dates back to the 13th century. The choir and transept were partially protected as historic monuments by an order dated 18 January 1921.
