The Église Saint-Martin was rebuilt from 1929 to 1932 using ashlar and reinforced concrete under the direction of architect Albert Paul Müller, following the complete destruction of the village and the former church during the fighting from 1917 to 1918. The Art Deco church is particularly representative of the renewal of sacred art in the 1920s and features frescoes, mosaics, stained-glass windows, and a bell tower carried by angels. It has been classified as a monument historique since 3 November 1997. Its northern side aisle, in the Chapel of the Virgin Mary, also contains a classified stone tomb slab from the 16th century for Lancelot Pagnon, the mayor of Martigny who died in 1581, and his wife. The slab bears engraved portraits and the date 1581.
