Nature

The Les Fontinettes–Les Gravelines archaeological site lies west of Cuiry-lès-Chaudardes and partly extends into the municipality of Beaurieux. It is located on the right bank of the Aisne in a large meander enclosing an area of approximately 100 hectares.

Le Champ Tortu is located on a non-floodable low terrace on the right bank of the Aisne. The building plans at Le Champ Tortu help to fill a research gap between the Michelsberg period and the later and final Neolithic.
