Sargé-lès-le-Mans: Holiday Apartments and Houses

A historical detail of Sargé-lès-le-Mans is the circular choir of Saint-Aubin Church, which dates back to 1125.

Culture

Saint-Aubin Church also contains a wooden altarpiece dating from the third quarter of the 16th century, from the time of Henry III. Numerous parts of gravestones can be found around the church. They are remnants of the former cemetery, which still existed in the 14th century.

The amateur theatre festival organised by SCELIA is also part of the town’s cultural history: since 2007, it has been associated with the cultural venue in the Sarthe area.

Nature and Trails

The Boulevard Nature walking programme comprises two footpaths of approximately equal length. Both start at the cemetery, near which there is a car park.

Circuit No. 15, “Le Mans and its surroundings … on foot”, is located in Sargé-lès-le-Mans, 4 km northeast of Le Mans on the D 301, and can be reached by bus route No. 30.

The Chemins médiévaux circular trail leads through sunken lanes beneath dense vegetation and explores the medieval history of Sargé-lès-le-Mans.

Leisure

Le Mans Golf Club – Sargé offers a compact practice course with three holes ranging from 60 to 100 metres in length.

At the entrance to Parc Yves Rouy, the Mouv’roc allows several users to exercise outdoors. The stations are available for self-service use by people at least 1.40 m tall and are also suitable for people with reduced mobility.

The skate park at the Complexe sportif Willy Weber was opened to the public from 4 August 2026.
