The route Sur le flanc du Mont Rochard climbs through a low mountain landscape along the edge of the forest and leads to important springs, which are particularly significant in spring. Mont Rochard is a panoramic viewpoint at an altitude of 357 metres. It is freely accessible, and there are hiking trails nearby.

At Rubricaire, there is a car park and free access on foot. Le Rubricaire consists of the ruins of a Gallo-Roman fortress.

Culture and History

The hamlet of Etiveau is home to granite houses and a 17th-century chapel. The chapel in Etiveau was built in 1723; the year is engraved in the lintel.

On the circular trail Circuit de Pierre Fontaine, you can discover the former Pierre Fontaine manor house. The manor house is privately owned and cannot be visited. It is a 15th- and 16th-century building; its octagonal tower has narrow openings for defensive purposes.
