Nature
The Parc du Frêne covers 7.5 hectares and is a mosaic of aquatic habitats such as rivers, ponds and bodies of water, bocage landscapes with hedgerows and meadows, and wooded slopes.
The Parc du Frêne is located in the north of the municipality and can be accessed via the Chapelle du Frêne; parking spaces are available there. Since 6 September 2018, the Parc du Frêne has been designated a natural site as part of “Sur le chemin de la nature”.
The Parc communal de Saint-Aignan-sur-Roë also offers a variety of different wetland habitats.

Culture and History
The Chapelle du Frêne was built by the JULLIOT family between 1868 and 1872. It was designed in the Gothic Revival style and also served a burial function.
The motherhouse of the Petites Sœurs de Marie Mère du Rédempteur was moved from Toulouse to Saint-Aignan-sur-Roë in 1969. At their community in Saint-Aignan-sur-Roë, the Petites Sœurs de Marie Mère du Rédempteur invite visitors to get to know them and pray with them.
