Trails and Landscape
The circular hiking trail “Circuit du Menhir de la Hune à Bazougers (No. 6)” is 16.0 kilometres long, follows a loop route and starts in Bazougers. The starting point of Circuit 6 is at Place de l'église. As a large loop starting from Bazougers, it allows visitors to explore the landscape of the Mayenne department; at the same time, the circular trail takes hikers on a discovery of the Menhir de la Hune.
The Menhir de la Hune is 5.6 metres high. It was originally used as a polishing stone and initially lay on the ground.
Creative Activities
The “Peindre à la ferme” workshop is a drawing and painting course at the lieu-dit La Grulière in Bazougers. It teaches drawing techniques as well as watercolour, acrylic and pastel painting.
