The Château de Sautré was built in the 12th century on a rocky promontory above the Suine stream. In the Middle Ages, it served as a territorial defensive structure against Norman invasions. La Chevalerie was a defensive post of the Château de Sautré and was commanded by a knight.

The Eglise Saint Martin de Feneu also reaches far back into history: it is an old foundation dating from 1064. The Chapelle des Vignes, also known as Notre-Dame de Pitié, was built in 1648. Every year, the chapel hosts exhibitions of nativity scenes as well as paintings and sculptures.
