Culture

The Romanesque Sainte Radegonde Church preserves remains from the 11th century, a bell gable with 13th-century buttresses, and a Gothic choir. The stained-glass window in the large church window was installed in 1945 and signed by Jacques Grüber. In the late Middle Ages, Monnières was home to a Templar commandery.

The Étang des Tuileries is a peaceful, two-hectare pond used for outdoor recreation and relaxation. There is a children's playground at the Étang des Tuileries. Village character and wine

The Village du Pont was an old port serving the wine-growing region at the edge of the navigable section of the Sèvre Nantaise. It is home to typical multi-storey stone houses dating from the 15th to the 18th century, which once belonged to merchants and shipowners.

The Domaine Ménard-Gaborit winery offers tours and wine tastings by prior reservation. It also offers an organically certified selection of Muscadet wines, including Monnières-Saint-Fiacre.
