Only the 17th-century entrance pavilion bearing a coat of arms and part of the choir of the former church remain of Sainte-Marie-Madeleine Abbey.

The present-day Sainte-Marie-Madeleine Church in Geneston is a neo-Gothic building constructed from 1869 onwards, replacing the former abbey church.

The altarpiece of Sainte-Marie-Madeleine Church was listed as a historic monument in 1962.

The Château de Geneston was built in 1852 on the site of the south wing of the former abbey.

At the entrance to the former cloister of Sainte-Marie-Madeleine Abbey, a niche topped with a scallop shell has been preserved; it once held a statue of Sainte Marie-Madeleine.

Fishing is possible at the Plan d'eau de Geneston from a fishing pier accessible to people with disabilities; the municipal lake covers 0.5 ha and can be accessed from the town centre.
