Culture
The Église Saint-Jean-Baptiste de Lastelle dates back to the 13th century. After the bell tower and roof were damaged in 1944, it was restored from 1950 to 1952 under the direction of the architect Georges Pouleaud. The church has a three-bay nave, a two-bay choir with rib vaults, and a central bell tower with a gabled roof.
In Le Plessis-Lastelle, the statue of Saint Herbland is located near the altar of the Chapelle Sainte-Anne. This statue has been protected as a movable historic monument since 4 October 1972.
The Église Saint-Sébastien is also one of the town's buildings. It was rebuilt in 1958 according to the same floor plan, in a style that combines tradition and modernity. Its bell tower is octagonal, covered with slate, and of an atypical shape. The twelve stained-glass windows date from 1958 and were created by Jacques Le Chevallier.
