Culture and History

The parish church of Saint-Martin comprises a nave and a bell tower, which were rebuilt at the beginning of the 12th century. The choir dates from around 1200.

The Château de Ryes stands on the site of a former manor house; the new château was completed in 1867. One of its distinctive architectural features is an external horseshoe-shaped staircase.
