Fauquembergues is located in a bocage landscape crossed by the Aa. Énerlya offers films for all age groups and documentaries, as well as workshops and introductory courses in music, visual arts, creative leisure activities, and digital and multimedia design. Énerlya also houses a tourist information office and a starting point for hikes.
The Church of Saint-Léger has been listed as a historic monument since 5 April 1948. It preserves a 14th-century tomb slab, a 15th-century bronze censer, and a 16th-century statue of the Virgin and Child vanquishing the demon; these objects are classified as cultural heritage. The church occasionally hosts concerts and temporary exhibitions, particularly as part of the European Heritage Days.
The historic Moulin Mannessier used the waters of the Aa for more than 800 years to produce flour, oil, and even electricity; operations ceased in 1978. Moulin Mannessier offers a free guided tour with interactive games, models, and projections. It also offers weekly guided tours and, during the season, workshops, games, storytelling events, exhibitions, and walking tours.
The ancient archaeological site of Thérouanne is located in the vicinity of Fauquembergues. The wider region around Fauquembergues is home to the historic Abbaye Saint-Bertin site, the Abbaye Sainte-Colombe monastery, the ruins of Abbaye de Clairmarais, and the Parc du chà teau park.
