The Église Notre-Dame de la Nativité has a cruciform layout with two transept arms, a bell tower above the western entrance, a nave, a choir and a sacristy. The complex probably originated from a building initially erected as a chapel. The church was extended from 1825 to 1861; as early as 1727, it received a campenard, that is, a bell gable.
The Église Notre-Dame de la Nativité contains a small, carved fragment of the old reliquary shrine of Saint Josse. This object was listed as a protected monument on 1 February 1911. The former Château d’Airon is also part of the historical character of the village: it was made of white stone, flanked by turrets and surrounded by a moat.

Part of the Marais de Balançon Natura 2000 site extends across Airon-Notre-Dame. The area is designated as Special Protection Area FR 3110083.
The village’s best-known spring is La Coque des Moines. A local legend is associated with this place.
