Laby'Parc du Touquet is located at 11 chemin des Ardronnieres in Saint-Josse and offers activities on land, in the water and in the air.

Nature

The Landes du Moulinel cover more than 9 hectares. Their mosaic landscape of natural habitats comprises more than 120 plant species.

The Marais de Villiers is a lowland marsh of around 20 hectares, with vegetation and flora typical of alkaline lowland marshes. It is in good condition and is of European importance; 852 animal species and 398 plant species are known to occur there.

The Les Marais de Balançon route offers views from Mont d’Airon of the dune belt and the Marais de Balançon. There, water and land intermingle in a mosaic landscape.

Trails

The Les Bas Champs circular trail provides easy access to the banks of the Canche and the coastal hinterland marshes.

Les Bas Champs is 11 km long, difficult and starts in Villiers.

Culture and history

On Trinity Sunday, a procession goes from Saint-Pierre Church to the Croix Coupée, 500 metres from the village. Mass is celebrated there in the open air; afterwards, the procession returns through Saint-Josse.

On the pilgrimage day, the Bois de Saint-Josse is open to everyone. Visitors can draw water from the Fontaine aux chrétiens, see the hermit's hut, also known as the “Ermitage de Saint-Josse”, and picnic in the undergrowth.

The former Saint-Josse-sur-Mer monastery is located in the vicinity of Saint-Josse. The ruins of Abbaye Notre-Dame de Longvillers are in the surrounding area.

Since the 19th century, fishermen from Étaples and Berck have been engraving boat registrations as graffiti on a wall in Saint-Josse. These graffiti form a register containing details such as the home port, boat name, construction and scrapping dates, and the name of the skipper.

Plage Saint-Gabriel is located near Saint-Josse. Plage de Fort-Mahon and Plage d'Equihen are in the wider regional area. The historic site of Abbaye de Valloires is also located in this wider regional area.
