History
Ribécourt-la-Tour is closely linked to the events of the First World War. On 20 November 1917, General Elles and a tank battalion captured the village. Ribécourt-la-Tour remained in Allied hands until the German offensive of 1918.
Culture
The Church of Saint-Léger was built in 1930 by Louis Brugnaud, Omer Boury and Eugène Sauvegrain. The former Church of Saint-Léger dated back to 1571 and was demolished in 1917 during the Battle of Cambrai. Its reconstruction began in 1924 and was completed at the end of the 1930s.
