The Château d’Aubry was built in 1526 by Jean de Thiant during the Renaissance. It is located in a romantic park surrounded by historic moats; a hotel operates in the Château d’Aubry.
The Eglise Sainte Madeleine d'Aubry du Hainaut has been dedicated to Sainte Marie-Madeleine since 1548. Its stained-glass windows mostly depict episodes from the life of Sainte Marie-Madeleine. Two large gravestones made of blue Soignies stone are attached to the outer wall. They originally covered the graves of Robert de Waziers, Seigneur de Gouzocourt, and his wife Charlotte de Lapierre, Dame d'Aubry, and date from the 17th century.
Aubry-du-Hainaut is part of the Scarpe Escaut Regional Nature Park. The Chemin des Mazingues runs along the château park between Rue Henri Maurice and Rue des Violettes. The path provides access to the municipality’s sports complex, which includes a football stadium and a multisport field.
The Labyrinthe de Beauregard is a huge cornfield maze with an immersive puzzle trail. Visitors can test their sense of direction, logical thinking and team spirit there. The Labyrinthe de Beauregard also hosts seasonal activities and special events.
Those who choose Aubry for their stay can opt to rent a holiday apartment.
