The Musée du Pays de Cocagne has been designated a “Musée de France” within the meaning of the French Heritage Code since 17 September 2003. Its collections include sacred art, fine art, archaeology, as well as art and popular traditions. The museum also presents two major exhibitions every year.
The Cathédrale Saint-Alain is a brick building in the Toulouse Gothic style, built in 1255. It has a polychrome carved and painted wooden organ case dating from 1523. On the Cathédrale Saint-Alain, the Jacquemart has struck the hours with his axe every hour since 1604.
The Tour des Rondes, whose construction is believed to date back to 1250, is one of the last remaining remnants of Lavaur’s fortifications.

The Itinéraire Historique de Lavaur is a signposted circular route through Lavaur’s old town. It offers a free puzzle game for adults and children aged seven and over.
