In Crespinet, Les chemins de Peygues is a circular hiking trail. From the hamlet of Peygues, the route offers views over three valleys. One section leads through the forest and runs along the Lézert or overlooks it. Cyclists use today’s Côte de Peygues on the D70 to test their climbing abilities. Along the old Côte de Peygues, which was for a long time the only connection between the municipality of Crespinet and the Tarn Valley, sections lined with low walls bear witness to its past.

Culture

In Farguettes, the former Saint-Jean des Farguettes church is now used as a chapel of worship. The former church and the remains of a stone cross were listed as historic monuments by decree of 29 December 1978. A cross sculpted on both sides stands by the cemetery wall in Farguettes.

The Maison forte des Farguettes is a fortified house dating back to the 14th century, with an enclosed courtyard complex and architecture somewhere between a residential building and a château. It has a sculpted Renaissance portal. A significant underground refuge also extends beneath part of the Maison forte des Farguettes.
