Fayssac is situated amid vineyards. The Sentier des 4 châteaux passes through the village and is marked in yellow; at the same time, Fayssac is the starting point for several hiking trails.

Nature
From Fayssac, spectacular views of the Pyrenees open up in the morning. There are also views from here of the countryside around Gaillac.
Culture
The Saint-Étienne church has a rich history and, like the old washhouse, is one of Fayssac’s preserved heritage sites.
The Fayssac Passion association organises, among other events, the “JAZZ sous les maroniers” festival.

Ferme de l’Esparcette in Fayssac produces organic and “Nature et Progrès” products. Vegetables are sold on Tuesdays from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Noctambio market in Gaillac, on Thursdays from 6 to 7 p.m. through AMAP du Carrofoul in Le Séquestre, and on Fridays from 5 to 7 p.m. at La Monestarié bakery in Lincarques (Cestayrols).
