Lamillarié: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Nature and trails
The Sentier Dels Galloromans is an eight-kilometre circular trail that begins in the town hall square of Lamillarié.
Its description connects Lamillarié’s Gallo-Roman past with a Roman road that came from Albi and ran over the ridges towards Castres.
The trail passes through hilly countryside. From there, the Pic du Caylou and the Montagne Noire can be seen in the distance; in good weather, the view even extends as far as the Pyrenees.
Culture and history
The painting “Crucifixion” from the 18th century is housed in the Church of Saint Benedict in Frédefond.

The painting depicts Saint Benedict on the right, looking at the crucified Christ. He has a tonsured head and holds a bishop’s staff in his left hand; the sorrowful Virgin appears on the left.
The brickworks built at the end of the 1940s followed an older brickworks founded by Calvet in the early 1850s. It had a Hoffmann kiln and a chimney more than 20 metres high.
The brickworks closed at the end of the 1960s.
Near Léjos, an identifiable section of the historic road is almost 200 metres long and more than five metres wide.
The Church of Saint Andrew of Léjos houses a carved and painted wooden frame with fruit garlands, made in the 17th century.
Local character
At the editions of the Grande Bodega in Lamillarié documented in 2025 and 2026, tapas, aligot, sausage and ice cream were offered.
