Culture and History
Written records of the Château de Montpinier date back to the 12th century. The present-day fortress was built in the first half of the 19th century on the remains of a medieval castle. The Château includes a small Renaissance courtyard.
The Église Saint-Pierre de Mazières was recently restored and is located in the hamlet of Mazières.

The “Formation mur en pierres sèches” workshop is led by Erwan HENOU, a professional dry-stone waller and stonemason. A restored barn on the grounds of the Château de Montpinier is used for performances, conferences and events. The shaded park of the Château de Montpinier hosted 45 craftspeople, creatives and producers.
The Randonnée de printemps comprised two circular routes of 13 km and 7.5 km. An Easter egg hunt was held at the Château de Montpinier at Easter, with children and adults taking part.
