There are two wind energy projects within the municipality of Assac. The ten wind turbines in Assac convert the mechanical or kinetic energy of the wind into electrical energy.
The “Des éoliennes aux moulins” circular trail is 6 km long, starts in the village near the car park of the community hall and ends there again. It is included in the PDIPR, the departmental plan for hiking and walking trails, and has been awarded the France Randonnée label.
Culture
Castelpanis is located on private property; access is only possible as part of the tours organised by the municipal administration during the Heritage Days.
The Assac-danse association offers traditional dance classes on Monday evenings from October to April.

Farm produce
Since 2019, L’Atelier de Courbière has had a processing workshop where raw-milk sheep’s cheese and ice cream made from full-fat sheep’s milk are produced. At the farm, L’Atelier de Courbière also sells yoghurt and bottled milk.
