Puycelci: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

The 10-hectare plots of the Conservatoire at the foot of the fortified village of Puycelsi are home to more than 750 old fruit varieties, including apple, pear, plum, cherry and peach varieties, as well as more than 100 old grape varieties.

At the Conservatoire départemental d’espèces fruitières et vignes anciennes, a free guided tour of the collection gardens is offered at 10 a.m. without registration.

Getting there

Puycelsi is not served by public transport; the journey can be combined with a train ride to Gaillac, and the village can be reached on foot via the GR 46.

The main free visitor car park is located at the foot of Puycelsi, near the departmental conservatory for fruit varieties and old grapevines.
