Le Bez is located in the Parc Naturel Régional du Haut-Languedoc. The northern part is characterised by the Massif du Sidobre and its granite blocks, while the southern part forms the agricultural and forested Plateau d’Anglès.

Landscape
The Rocher tremblant de la Brescarié is part of the designated natural heritage in Le Bez. The Rivière de rocher, the Ruisseau de Sécun stream, is also designated as natural heritage.
Culture
The Maison-forte du Bez, also known as “le Château”, was built in the first half of the 17th century. It has a projecting corner tower whose ornamental design follows that of the Hôtel Le Roy in Castres. The cultural heritage sites of Le Bez also include Neolithic statue menhirs.
The Espace muséologique du Granit et des Hommes presents the granite of the Sidobre and its processing, from extraction to transformation.
Hiking and Discovery
The Sentier du chemin des trois villages is a 20.2-kilometre hiking trail with a duration of 330 minutes. It leads through agricultural high plateaus, wooded areas and riverbanks, connects the hamlets of the municipality of Le Bez and provides links to other hiking trails and villages in the surrounding area.
The Les Sources de La Durencuse hike is 10 kilometres long, takes three hours and leads through the agricultural and forested part of the Sidobre.
The Sentier des immortels explains the origin of this unusual landscape and the formation of the unusual rocks of the Sidobre. It includes 16 reproductions of statue menhirs from the Haut-Languedoc.
The Maison du Sidobre visitor attraction includes the small Naissance du Granite interpretation trail. The Aire de pique-nique de la Maison du Sidobre is located beside a small lake, offers granite loungers and is the starting point for the Sentier des immortels.
The Parcours pêche at the Lac de la Maison du Sidobre offers easily accessible first-category fishing for trout.
Local activities
The Goûter à la ferme experience includes a farm snack with homemade and regional products. It also offers the opportunity to take a walk around the 10-hectare estate.
