The parish church of Saint-Maurice was first mentioned in 1146 under the name Saint-Maurice d'Anglares. It was built almost entirely from sandstone masonry and has a single-nave layout flanked by two chapels. The surviving parts of the Romanesque nave may date from the mid-12th century.
