Pinsac: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Culture
The parish church of Saint-Pierre-Saint-Paul of Pinsac stands in the village. Its floor plan is in the shape of a Latin cross; the choir and the two chapels have rib vaults.
The church also features unidentified heraldic depictions and an engraved motif consisting of a heart, an arrow, a crossed sword and two palm trees.
The church of Saint-Germain dates from the late 12th or early 13th century. After the Hundred Years’ War, it was repaired and partially rebuilt; at least the apse vault and the bell tower were renewed in the process. In the pulpit, it preserves a trompe-l’œil ashlar decoration adorned with roses, as well as reused carved wooden panels.

Paths and Landscape
The climb to the Pech de Pinsac and the second Pech follows a very rocky path. There is no water point on the hike over the Pech de Pinsac.
Another signposted route is the GR®81 Chemin d’Amadour. It includes an 8.5 km stage from Souillac to Pinsac, which takes 1 hour 30 minutes.

On the Water
Copeyre Canoë – Base de Pinsac offers canoe rentals for multi-day tours. To use them, paddlers must be able to swim 25 metres in flowing water.
