Landscape

The “Les Tours” in Crocq are the remains of a castle fortress dating from the 12th century. The former fortress of Crocq lies on the border between Auvergne and Limousin. The GRP® route “Boucle du Haut Pays Marchois” is 84 km long and starts in Crocq. In the immediate vicinity of Crocq, around three kilometres from the town centre, lies the Dolmen d'Urbe, also known as “Pierre Levée”; it can be reached on foot, by bicycle, or on horseback.
