Genouillac is home to the Viaduc de Genouillac, one of four structures belonging to the former railway line between Guéret and La Châtre, which was approximately 70 kilometres long. The viaduct consists of 16 arches, each with a span of 10 metres, and was built in three construction phases from 1902 to 1904. It crosses the Petite Creuse and offers an impressive vantage point; at the same time, it is a place of history and architecture.

The medieval Church of Saint-Pierre-ès-Liens dates from the 13th and 14th centuries. Its west façade preserves a fragment of a machicolation as the last visible remnant of the fortifications. The chapels of Saint-Pierre-ès-Liens are fitted with stained-glass windows by Françis Chigot.
Saint-Pierre-ès-Liens also contains a limestone statue of Saint Sebastian. It dates from the late 16th or early 17th century and was protected as a historic monument in 2006. At the former site of the Ligondes family castle, only the moat is still visible today.
