Construction of the Église Saint-Pierre du Château began on 9 November 1664; the completed building was solemnly blessed on 21 December 1683.

Culture
The Chapelle Sant Pere del Bosc was first mentioned in 1163 and remained the parish church of the fortified village of Corbère until the 17th century. Its nave is 16.20 metres long and has a half-barrel vault and a marble portal.
The Château de Corbère was first mentioned in 1241 under the name “castrium et forcia de Corbèria”. The ruins of the village of Corbère preserve the remains of a wall in the northern part and the still-visible remains of a tower in the south. The Château de Corbère can be reached via a small road that passes the “le Courtalet” restaurant and continues from the car park to the château.
Sant Julia is a church in a peaceful, quiet setting surrounded by nature. The Chapelle Santa Engracià is also located in the immediate vicinity of Corbère.
In the wider region around Corbère are the Musée d'art Hyacinthe-Rigaud museum, the Palace of the Kings of Majorca and Le Castillet fortress.

The signposted “Sentier de découverte et d’histoire des 2 Corbère” trail is listed among the hiking trails of the Piémont. The peaks of Montou, Serrat d'en Jac and Sant Martí de la Roca are located in the immediate vicinity of Corbère. The Roc de Majorca peak is also situated around Corbère.
