The Musée de Cerdagne has been housed since 1993 in the Ferme Cal Mateu in Sainte-Léocadie, a farmhouse dating from the 18th century. It preserves an ethnographic collection that documents the agricultural, social and cultural history of a mountain region over the long term.

The municipal circular trail “La Cerdagne se raconte” begins at the entrance to the village, next to the Musée de Cerdagne in Sainte-Léocadie. It is 3 kilometres long, takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, and is marked in yellow.

The peaks of Puig de Llívia, Puig d'Estaques, Roc de Carbanet and l'Hippopotame are located in the vicinity of Sainte-Léocadie.

Activities

The Aéroclub Icaria is based in Sainte-Léocadie next to an 800-metre-long grass runway at the ALAT military mountain flying base, at an altitude of 4,300 feet. The Aéroclub offers ULM flights and sightseeing flights over one of the most beautiful regions of France and Spain.
