Clara: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

In the centre of the village of Clara stands the parish church of Saint-Martin. It is still dedicated to Catholic worship and is mentioned in the year 879 under the name “basilica S Martini Clarinianum”.

Hiking

The hike to the Dolmen de la Lloseta is 5.2 km long and is designed as an out-and-back route. It is easy and suitable for families; the trail leads to this dolmen and passes through Clara.

The Ronde du Canigó GR®P is a very difficult circular route that takes 8 days and covers 157.1 km. It passes through Clara and is part of the 1,000 km GR® and GR®P trail network in the Pyrénées-Orientales département.

Routes

The Boucle du bicentenaire starts in Clara and is an easy 7.5 km circular hike. It is signposted with yellow PR markings and yellow-and-red GR® de Pays markings.

The route follows historic paths on the foothills of Canigó; these paths were used by schoolchildren in the previous century.
