The Natura 2000 site “Forêt de pins de Salzmann de Bessèges” extends partly across the municipal area of Bordezac. Salzmann pines grow in this area; the Salzmann pine is considered one of the rarest forest tree species in France.

Culture
The Church of Saint Joseph in Bordezac was built in 1859. The GR® de Pays Haute Vallée de la Cèze stage passes La Clède, a traditional building used for drying chestnuts.
At the “Le Chataignier” interpretation point, the chestnut is regarded as a central resource of the Cévennes for centuries and as a historical livelihood. Among other things, it was used to prepare the soup Bajanat.
Hiking
The first stage of the GR® de Pays Haute Vallée de la Cèze begins in Bordezac and ends in Malons-et-Elze. It is 17.67 km long, has an elevation gain of 916 m and has a stated duration of 6 hours. It is marked with the yellow signage of the local GRP network and signposts.
The “Les crêtes d’Aujac” hike can begin and end at the Mairie car park in Bordezac. Its route follows the former Draille des crêtes de la Loubière and uses an old Roman road hidden in the pine forest.
The “Parcours pour la vue Arielle Dumas” was designed as one of the first routes of the Rando-Gard app for accompanied visually impaired people and provides precise voice guidance along the entire route. The trail begins and ends in Bordezac, offers shade in the surrounding forests of Bordezac and views of the Haute Vallée de la Cèze. It also leads to the Dolmen de Chams, taking visitors back more than 3,000 years.
